Nice that Elmer’s not hunting with a gun this time. It’s kind of shocking to see and hear this version of Bugs Bunny. We’re so used to what he evolved into! (Have you ever wished you’d met your spouse when he or she was just a kid? Wouldn’t that be amazing? Or, maybe we don’t want to after all!) Knowing how Bugs did evolve, and how beautifully, I find myself wondering how many other promising things don’t ever quite develop into their ideal or rightful shape? And we never get the benefit of them! Next I find myself wondering what ideal and rightful even mean.
“Gosh, I don’t even know this guy!” The jokes here aren’t necessarily too inspired. At the end, Bugs does a Woody Woodpecker laugh!
