Extraordinary Illusions

Film Review by Dean Duncan Jun 17, 2015

It must be admitted that sometimes there’s not much more to a trick film than the film’s trick. It must be admitted that that seems, sounds, sometimes is kind of limited. Limited, that is, unless the trick is like this one.

How on earth did he do that?! When all those limbs start working separately and simultaneously, and appear to actually belong to and be attached to someone, then that single trick starts to look kind of comprehensive. He’s the Borg, except so much more happily. Resistance is futile, I mean to say.
