Golden Yeggs

We’ve got anatomical hens in the yard there, and then an impossible cartoon goose—who actually seems to be a male—that lays that golden egg. (Cartoon as commodity?) Knowing his Aesop, s/he blames the deed on Daffy.

Now Rocky, the WB’s spectacular diminutive gangster, makes his inaugural appearance! The gangster/door gag is good, though not as good as it was in Little Red Riding Rabbit. The gangsters as part of the sheets tied together gag is very good. The conclusion is a bit underwhelming. No problem. With this factory, at least at this time, their middling product is also acting as prime R&D. They’ll come up with something better in a minute or two…
