Cage is a charming, charismatic old guy. The filmmakers seem really star-struck. Chance operations and indeterminacy are profound. This isn’t. They’re not being at all consistent with their rules and restrictions. As far as Cage’s statements go, they’re what you might expect when someone sticks a mic in someone else’s face and asks them to be profound.
