Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

Film Review by Dean Duncan Apr 1, 2015

Pretty poverty row. What’s with the sound? Famous filmmaker, post-his famous contributions, still needing to make a living. For all that, this is a fresh take on this horrible franchise. Rudolph lives out in a sort of plausible world, and Santa pulls away from all that cruel incomprehension because he needs help and sees the little guy’s potential. Not quite Howard Hawks, but better than the usual.

Great artist, crappy song…
