The Glue

Film Review by Dean Duncan Jun 1, 2015

Man, she’s good! An adult poacher-type is apprehended, leaving a kid poacher-type to pursue the task in his own particular way. We know the drill by now. The conceit is very simple—spread glue over all sorts of surfaces and let the zaniness ensue—but the variations are more than sufficient to sustain the story and entertain the audience. Some of these victims are really victimized! The ladies stuck to the seat, who then hobble their way to the steps, on the which they get double stuck. Another great conclusion here, in which the perpetrator is hoist on his own petard, or sat in his own glue pail.

That’s all for Alice Guy, at least in this suddenly too-short compilation. I miss her already!
