Unglazed Windows Cast a Terrible Reflection

Film Review by Dean Duncan Jun 18, 2015

Another young man’s film. This situation is pretty generic, actually. In fact, it’s horror film generic—youngsters in an isolated place, descending to violence. This is the kind of things that kids do, and it’s okay. What’s exciting is, once again, the unapologetic localness of the thing. We are in Nowhere, Colorado. No apologies are needed, or given. The setting is dramatic, and exceedingly well used. Composition and cutting actually do justice to Eisenstein! Terrific, committed performances too.
