Cutie and the Boxer

Saw #CutieandtheBoxer. Reveals that a life devoted to art is all you ever thought it could, ever feared it would be. Follow your dreams! …

… Or, abandon hope all ye who enter! These boxing paintings are pretty cool, mind you.

#CutieandtheBoxer is a real life version of V. Woolf’s A Room of One’s Own! In the negative sense, I’m afraid …

… Noriko as Shakespeare’s speculative sister, or the finally, fatally compromised Charlotte Bronte …

… Or how ’bout this? This is Dracula, w’ Ushio as the Count, & Noriko as salvific Mina …

… The only problem being, of course, that there’s no Dr. Van Helsing to intervene & save the saving female!

#CutieandtheBoxer ends nicely/patly. However its images, assembly & use of stock material are all first rate.
