Locations are impressive. Wardrobe is impressive. (Gross) effects are very impressive. Otherwise, how idiotic! Plausibility isn’t always necessary, but your outlandish antics should be somehow purposeful, your satire sharp, the behaviour you enact or portray somewhere in the realm of human possibility and experience. Here it’s all implausibility and crass stupidity. What’s that old guy even doing out there? A supposedly romantic, or maybe just arousing tryst that takes place in an outhouse, while someone is having a bowel movement? Axing your girlfriend to death, accidentally? And they totally stole the chain saw gag from Evil Dead II! Nice last word, movie. One is reluctant to sustain this sensibility, but I can only say that I’m glad they killed you all off.
