Pigs is Pigs

Film Review by Dean Duncan Mar 26, 2015

There’s some fantastic modern design here, some really good blocking, really good use of space, kinesis, etc. All in the service of a headscratcher. I sense some libertarian sentiment; bureaucracy doubtless deserves to be bashed, but this reaches a level that is more hysterical than comic. And why urge it upon the kids? And what’s with the Irishman and the Scotsman?

The part with the rampant reproduction of those guinea pigs is kind of charmingly imprudent. Are they sneaking in the unseemly? Well, Tex Avery did! Not too great, but we can still enjoy ourselves.
