Same Shirt

Film Review by Dean Duncan Jul 15, 2015

As with the previous film in this cluster, Same Shirt is a really reduced take on the workings of enactment, performance, theatre. Look how easy it is to take on roles. Once again, Wegman is being body frank and body healthy. That’s a woman there, and then he makes nothing more of it, and there’s no snidy subtext either. His two characters are positive and nice, over nothing, which is pretty great when you think about it.
